Autumn is the chestnut season and at the same time the best season for a nice trip to the chestnut villages of Crete.

Some of us may have already visited them and some of us may not even know that they exist.

First part :
Departure

Departure in the morning from Heraklion making a stop for coffee in the picturesque village of Vryses with the running waters. We continue our route and passing through the wild “Topoliano gorge” with the impressive tunnel, we will take the path with about 200 steps, to admire the majestic cave and the temple of the Wisdom of God that are surrounded by so many legends!

Second part :
Adventure

Our next stop in Elos, the most important of the Kastanochoria of Chania. The chestnut village that steals your heart. A traditional village, next to chestnuts, olive trees, plane trees and other trees, while there are many springs with clear water. Free time to taste traditional delicacies and we will take the road back.
